Jurisdiction, Dispute Resolution, and Governing Law
This page captures the Ghana-first legal posture of the product while flagging the decisions that still need founder and counsel input.

Section 1
Current drafting posture
Pawalink is operated by Fortis Buildnext and is being launched with a Ghana-first product posture, payment context, and merchant audience. Unless otherwise stated for a specific market, the legal set should be read with Ghana as the primary operating context.
The final governing-law clause, dispute forum, and any arbitration posture still require founder choice and local counsel review. [NEEDS FOUNDER DECISION: court forum versus arbitration.] [NEEDS FOUNDER DECISION: governing law clause.]
Section 2
Practical dispute flow
As a practical first step, users should contact the relevant merchant or Pawalink support channel and attempt to resolve disputes informally before filing a formal claim, except where urgent injunctive or protective relief is required.
Merchant-buyer disputes, processor disputes, IP complaints, and platform-enforcement disputes may each require different procedures. Pawalink may preserve records and cooperate with payment providers, legal advisers, or authorities where necessary.
Section 3
Interim rights
Nothing in this draft is intended to prevent Pawalink from taking immediate steps to suspend risky activity, preserve evidence, limit access, or protect users, processors, or the platform while a dispute is pending.
