Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy
This policy addresses ownership of Pawalink software and merchant content, and sets expectations for using third-party material.
Operated by Fortis Buildnext
Pawalink is operated by Fortis Buildnext.
Section 1
Pawalink intellectual property
The Pawalink platform is operated by Fortis Buildnext. Fortis Buildnext and its licensors own the Pawalink software, interface design, workflows, branding, source code, databases, analytics outputs, and other platform materials except for content that users lawfully submit. These rights are protected by copyright, trademark, trade-secret, and related laws.
Section 2
User content and license
Merchants and other users retain whatever rights they already hold in the content they upload, but they grant Pawalink a non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, adapt, display, distribute, and store that content as needed to operate the service, generate public pages, create previews, support search and caching, and investigate abuse or disputes.
Users must not upload content they do not have the right to use. This includes copyrighted photos, logos, designs, catalog text, and other branded materials.
Section 3
Repeat infringement and abuse
Pawalink may remove allegedly infringing content, suspend repeat infringers, and preserve records needed to investigate rights complaints. [NEEDS LOCAL COUNSEL REVIEW: counter-notice standard and repeat-infringer threshold for Ghana launch.]
